Helicopter replaces antenna on WSB-TV tower near BeltLine
The operation went off without a hitch, and now a brand-new, 7,200-pound antenna towers above the city. The new antenna is 50-feet long, so the tower now stands 915-feet tall.

The structure has a triangular cross section, and serves transmitting duties on several frequencies. In 2019, a helicopter-assisted operation replaced an antenna. raising height to about 915 ft to improve signal coverage.
