fathomjournal.orgThe latest report I found says Evelyn Araluen has publicly cut ties with University of Queensland Press after it cancelled and pulped Jazz Money’s children’s book Bila, a river cycle. In her statement, she said she was ending any further projects and contracts with the publisher in solidarity with Money and in protest at the decision.[1][6]
Another update from recent coverage notes that Araluen won the 2026 Victorian Prize for Literature for The Rot, which was also awarded the Prize for Indigenous Writing.[3][6]
